The Syrian-Chinese Business Council and the Syrian Scientific Council Sign a Memorandum of Understanding to Enhance Integration between Knowledge and Investment

The Syrian-Chinese Business Council and the Syrian Scientific Council signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at enhancing cooperation between the scientific and economic communities, and utilizing scientific expertise and competencies in support of economic development, investment, and reconstruction in Syria.
The Memorandum includes a number of areas of cooperation, most notably:
• Preparing studies, visions, and scientific and technical recommendations related to development and investment.
• Supporting knowledge and technology transfer, promoting innovation, and capacity building.
• Linking Syrian expertise and competencies with the needs of development and investment projects.
• Organizing joint conferences, forums, and events.
• Enhancing communication among experts, academics, businesspeople, and investors.
• Supporting opportunities for cooperation with Chinese institutions, companies, and economic entities.
This cooperation comes within the framework of supporting the efforts of the Syrian-Chinese Business Council to develop economic and technical cooperation between Syria and the People’s Republic of China, and to enhance the role of knowledge and scientific expertise in building sustainable development and investment opportunities.
